In yoga and meditation, we rouse our energy and then relax into open spaciousness. Brian Hilliard and Shannon van Staden will offer many techniques employing body, mind and breath. These bring you to the vital energy point where profound relaxation can occur. There will be a strong emphasis on how yoga and meditation is mixed with daily life for ultimate emotional and physical well being. Our workshops with meditation and yoga in London provide you with an excellent basis for bringing total well being into daily life.
Tibetan yoga is a series of 20 vigorous exercises done on your feet. They are an ideal yoga for busy life styles, travellers and those on the move. These ancient movements originating with one of Tibet’s foremost scholars and yogis, Khenpo Rinpoche, enable you to stay strong and healthy, and bring the deep benefits of meditation into movement. This is a rare opportunity to train in the best of the Tibetan yogic traditions. It is ideal also for those who have difficulty with sitting meditation practice.
Yin yoga is a wonderful counter balance to the energetic Tibetan yoga. It allows you to work the deeper tissues of the ligaments and joints. Challenging and deeply satisfying postures increase health and well being, and provide further support to meditation practice.
The practice of meditation helps us to reconnect to our basic goodness. We can feel wholely and completely good, so that the challenges of daily life are workable and even a source of greater energy. Discover this ancient wisdom tradition which speaks directly and powerfully to our daily lives.
