The Journey of Meditation 4 - 6 week courses take you through traditional teachings on the stages of meditation. You will learn meditation techniques for calming the mind, and how to apply these to daily life. There is strong emphasis on how to meet challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression and strong emotions. You can learn to bring everything you encounter to the journey of meditation for a life that is more awake, alive, peaceful and energetic. The course includes personalised attention and care to your needs, dynamic group discussion, group sitting meditation, exploration of different wisdom traditions for understanding ourselves, intimate group size and a friendly and safe atmosphere. The course will feature a number of study and contemplation topics - cutting through spiritual materialism, yoga and meditation, meditation in daily life and stories and songs from famous masters. This course joins meditation instruction and sitting practice with a solid understanding of theory behind meditation. It is based on a 2,600 year tradition, with a view that will take you beyond current popular mindfulness programs. You will receive recommended readings, innovative exercises and handouts to support your home practice.

Our meditation retreats offer you a unique and valuable opportunity to practice meditation in nature. The naturally peaceful environment sets the stage for beginners and experienced practitioners to be able to easily relax and experience the benefits of meditation. There are two meditation sessions daily, morning and evening. Daily talks give you the understanding and techniques, while lively group discussions deepen experience. Sitting meditation is interspersed with walking meditation in nature, and for those looking for more action, early morning running and meditation is an option. It’s all designed to get you into the culture of meditation and deep relaxation.
